What are Karmic Numbers?
The karma number is a reflection of your subconscious. It highlights your deepest fears and insecurities and shows you what you need to work to overcome during this lifetime. It gives some insight into your hopes and dreams as well as your fears. Its purpose is to show you where to focus your energy for spiritual growth.
There is a difference between this and the more complicated “karmic debt” numbers in other forms of numerology. This is the simplest form I have found and I believe these numbers can still lend basic insight.
How to Calculate Karma Numbers
For the karma number you want to take your full birth name as it appears on your birth certificate. Add up ONLY the consonants all the way across the full name and then reduce.
Jane Marie Doe would be JNMRD and the corresponding numbers with the chart below would be 1 5 4 9 4. These we add straight across. There’s no need to break down each individual name as with other numbers, for this number the full name only is used.
For Jane, the total is 23 which breaks down to 5 (2 + 3).
